We all know someone with a magnetic personality. All they must do
to brighten a room is walk into it. They get on well with everyone,
irrespective of age, social class, or gender. They always know the right joke
to tell and just the right amount of flirting to do. Everyone wants to be
around them and those that dislike them are secretly jealous of them. They
have an infectious personality, an endearing laugh, and their personal
forcefield.
And chances are that person is not you.
You may have tried putting yourself out there now and again, and while
you’ve probably had some successful interactions, most never evolve into
long-lasting friendships. After one too many failed interactions, you might
